Judith A. Voelker

Judith A. Voelker, 76, of Altamont, died at 3:22 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Altamont with Rev. Scott Niermann officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Altamont. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and for one hour prior to service time all at the church. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Fear Nothing. Gieseking Funeral Home, Altamont is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Judith Ann Voelker was born on Friday, September 16, 1949 in Effingham, IL to Richard Paul and Elaine Lucille (Richter) Hankins. She married Charles E. Voelker on June 21, 1970 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Shumway. They were married for over 45 years before his death on January 8, 2016. She was a member Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a retired office administrator with Direct Lines. She enjoyed community theater, traveling and sewing.

Judy is survived by: her sons, Todd (Denise) Voelker of Shumway, Troy (Lisa) Voelker of St. Elmo, and Trevor (Tiffany) Voelker of St. Elmo; daughter, Timmerle (Kyle) Scholes of Altamont; brother, Rick (Dorothy) Hankins of Shumway; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
