Judith Eileen Walker, age 74, of Oberlin, died on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic. Born March 11, 1951, in Elyria, she was the daughter of Louis Jon and Rita (Mowatt) Amenhauser. Judy grew up in Oberlin, and moved to Indiana for about ten years as an adult, before returning to her hometown.
A creative spirit, Judy loved making quilts and baking. She was a loving wife to her late husband, Larry J. Walker, and a devoted homemaker. Family was everything to Judy and she cherished the time spent with those she loved most.
Survivors include her daughter, Misty (Dan) Simmons; grandchildren, Adrian, Amber, and Carissa (Cory); and great-grandchildren, Gage, Mykelti, and Ever. She is also survived by a special niece, Amanda, who was like a daughter to Judy and Larry; and siblings, Eddie, David, and Jeanie.
Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents; and a son, Michael J. Walker.
Per Judy’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. The Eastman Funeral Home in New London is honored to assist the family with their arrangements.
