Judith Alpha Webb

Judith Alpha Webb, age 94 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024. She was born June 9, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late Ruth Becker. Judy had a loving, indomitable spirit & an unmatched sense of humor. She loved her Lord Jesus and was a true child of God. For 38 years, Judy traveled the country & sold her artwork. She was a powerful & soulful artist whose paintings reflected her inner beauty. Judy & her husband Bill loved to travel. They visited 48 states throughout their journey together. She loved music and poetry. Having the soul of a poet, she expressed herself through verse and reflections. Judy was a master gardener. Everything under her care flourished, & she found great joy in the magnificence of the flowers on her patio. She was a mother, sister, granny & friend. If you knew her, you LOVED her. There was no in between. Her family was her everything. She was a radiant light and will be missed. Judith is survived by her beloved Daughter, Toni (Daniel) Dane; beloved Son, Michael Philip Mercurio; Granddaughters, Lydia (James) Brashear, and Sarah (James) Baker; Great-Granddaughters, Holly (Justin) Rausch, Rose (Zachary) Allender, and Madeline Rae Baker; Brother, Kenneth Newman; and by numerous other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her Beloved Husband of 62 years, Bill Webb & her Mother, Ruth Becker. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Centerville (820 Miamisburg - Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459). Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Centerville Cemetery.
