Judith M. Weiss

Judith M. Weiss, age 85, of Utica, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Wynn Hospital after a brief illness.

Born in Utica, NY, on November 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Frances B. Mason. She attended Utica Free Academy and was employed at the Savings Bank of Utica, where she met her future husband. Judith was active in local theater and sang in the Utica Grace Church Choir for many years. On October 27,1962, she was married to Paul Weiss at Grace Church, a loving and blessed union of 63 years. Over the years they lived in the Washington, DC area, Utica, NY, Houston, TX, New Hartford, NY and most recently, in the Utica Masonic Care Community.

Her family will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Surviving is her beloved husband, Paul; her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Gregory Portmann; her granddaughters, Baila and Clio, of California; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Nicola Weiss; and her granddaughter, Cecilia, of Washington.

A private family service will be held, with a burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.
