I met Pete through work, collaborating on several projects, but became closer friends outside. We hiked together in the Sierra and Tetons, laughing our way through the effort. We even swam in (darned cold) alpine lakes - something I think about all the time. He will always be in my thoughts.

I am so sad to hear of Pete's passing. I had the joy of working with Pete on CT Cardiac related projects. He was always humble, patient and kind. I am lucky to have gotten a chance to work with him. Pete had the ability to teach without teaching as he always led by example. I am forever grateful for what he taught me professionally and personally.
