(ALBION)

Judith Ann Wilkins, a beloved member of the Albion, NY community, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22nd, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on Friday, May 14th, 1943, Judy lived a life dedicated to caring for others and enriching the lives of those around her.

A graduate of the Medina Central School System, Judy found her calling in the medical field as a Registered Nurse. She dedicated her career to helping others at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY, where her compassion and skill made a significant difference in the lives of countless patients and colleagues.

Outside of her professional life, Judy was deeply involved in her faith and community. As a devoted member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church and The Catholic Daughters, she consistently embodied the spirit of service and love. Judy's kind heart extended beyond her human companions; she was a passionate lover of animals, especially her cherished dogs. Miss Wilkins was predeceased by her mother: Edna Traub, her grandparents: Jesse and John Wilkins, aunts and uncles: Harry and Kay Wilkins, John and Gertie Wilkins, Helen and Dick Dugan, Art and Dawn Wilkins and Edgar Wilkins.

Judy is survived by her aunt: Helen Wilkins as well as several cousins and other family members who fondly remember her warmth, generosity, and spirit. Although her absence leaves a profound void, her legacy of kindness and care remains in the hearts of those who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to honor Judy's life at a Graveside Service on Thursday, October 30th, at 11:00 am in Millville Cemetery. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. Judy's arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Albion.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to PAWS, 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion, NY, 14411, to honor Judy's love for animals and her dedication to their welfare.
