Albion, NY
Ruth A. Livingston, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on a sunny Sunday morning on July 8, 1951, Ruth spent her life dedicated to her family, friends, and her community in Albion.

Ruth worked diligently as a cleaner for CRFS, where her hard work and cheerful disposition left a lasting impression on her colleagues and clients alike. Outside of work, Ruth cherished life's simple pleasures, such as playing BINGO, doing puzzles, and crafting beautiful diamond art pieces. She had an incredible knack for finding treasure at yard sales and enjoyed her time spent at home surrounded by memories and heirlooms.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Ronda Schreiber; her sons, Jessie Moore of Medina and Robert Ettinger of Florida. Her loving siblings also remain to cherish her memory: brothers Elmer Ettinger of Albion, Henry (Diane) Ettinger of Brockport, and Roger (Vicky) Ettinger of Albion; and sisters Diane Moyer of Albion, Maudie Howell of Tennessee, Mary Cobb of Florida, and Rose (John) Sargent of Holley. Ruth's warm spirit also touched the lives of her 6 grandchildren: Jennifer, Alex, Jessie Jr., Zach, Kevin, and Hailey as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Ruth was preceded in death by her cherished sister, Evelyn Osborne, and her dear brother, Ronnie Ettinger. Their memory remained a source of strength and love for Ruth throughout her life.

Ruth's family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of support from friends and neighbors. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that a special memory of Ruth be shared at www.mitchellfamilyfuneralhomes.com, where stories and pictures will be cherished.

Arrangements for Ruth have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home of Holley, NY, where her legacy will continue to be celebrated by all who knew and loved her. Ruth will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
