Judy Byrd Obituary
Funeral Services remembering the life of Ms. Byrd will be at 2 PM Tuesday, October 18 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jesus Name Cemetery in Walnut.
Ms. Byrd was born February 25, 1956 in Walnut, the daughter of the late Earnest Lavern and Frances Pauline Manley Orman. She received her education in the Walnut Public School System and was employed in the manufacturing industry before her retirement from the Coil Master Corporation in Moscow, TN.
A member of Rocky Springs Baptist Church in Middleton, TN, Ms. Byrd enjoyed gospel music, singing and crafting. Her pride and joy was her loving family and she proudly displayed photographs throughout her home of each one.
Judy believed that we can not always see where the road leads, but God promises there is something better up ahead. We just have to trust in Him. "For we live by faith, not by sight"- 2 Corinthians 5:7
Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday, October 17 and will continue from 9 AM to 2 PM Tuesday at The Ripley Funeral Home.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Melissa McMeans (Jay) of Maryville, TN, a sister, Amy Meeks (Brian) of Counce, TN, four brothers, Eddie Orman and Jimmy Orman both of Ripley, Richard Orman of Walnut and Keith Orman (Cindy) of Chalybeate, four grandchildren, Tristin McMeans (Alyshia), Kaylie McMeans, DAlton McMeans and Tyleigh Yopp, a great granddaughter, Isabella Grace McMeans, a step-daughter, Natasha "Sissy" Yopp of Collierville, a step-son, Jimmy "Snapper" Yopp of Walnut and the father of her daughter, Roger Barnes of Walnut.
She was also preceded in death ny a sister, Debbie Taylor.
