Judy DeRusha Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Lockney on Mar. 11, 2026.
On the morning of March 10th, 2026, our beloved Judy Jane DeRusha,"Juju", was called home and into the arms of our Lord, leaving behind astrongly rooted legacy of faith, love, and family.

Judy dedicated much of her professional life to appraisal work and held several roles in county service. In more recent years, she pursued other work that gave her the flexibility to devote more time to meeting the needs of the people who meant the most to her - her family both immediate and extended.

Judy lived a life devoted to Christ and was a woman of bold faith, whose love for Jesus shone through in every aspect of her life. She was the family's prayer warrior, found joy and strength in scripture, and knew peace in the promise of eternal life. She shared her understanding of God's promises through steady provision to her family and friends, and she exemplified the hope and grace of the Kingdom through her kindness, compassion, and unyielding trust in God's plan.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Edward and Lillie Mae DeRusha, her dear sisters, Joan and Nancy, former husband Mack Carr, and her sister-in-law Deloyce DeRusha.

She is survived by her brother Bobby DeRusha and his wife Cathy of Uvalde, Texas; and her 3 sons, Rusty Carr of Bandera, Texas and his wife Cheryl, Justin Graham of Centerpoint, Texas and his wife Kayte, Jacob Graham of Bandera, Texas; former husband H.G. Graham and the apples of her eye, her grandchildren, Kenza Carr, Lincoln Graham, Redford Graham, and Wallace Graham. Cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, along with numerous extended family members and friends, also survive her.

Services for Judy will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 3:00 pm at North Side Baptist Church. A celebration of life will follow in Lockney, Texas at Lockney Cemetery.
