Judy Ann Gross Farmer passed away on May 10, 2025, due to liver failure at Kent General Hospital in Dover, Delaware. Born on September 18, 1959, in York, Pennsylvania, Judy was the cherished daughter of Barbara Ann Knox of Charleston, South Carolina, and Freddy J. Gross of York Haven, Pennsylvania.
Judy graduated from York Vo-Tech in 1977 and pursued a career in nursing, becoming an LPN with a focus on travel nursing and hospice care. She had a passion for cooking, preparing meals, and baking. Judy also loved plants, music, and cherished her family and friends.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, Barbara Ann Knox and Freddy J. Gross, and her brother, Mr. Christopher E. Gross of Port St. Lucie, Florida.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Richard Raymond Farmer of Dover, Delaware; her beloved sons, James J. Reigle and Zachary Allen Reigle, along with his wife Quanesha Reigle; and three deeply loved grandchildren, Iceland, Levi, and Shiloh. Judy is also survived by her siblings, Mr. Charles Gross (Cathy) of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Mariellen E. Hill (Lou) of Seaford, Delaware, and Mr. John L. M. Gross (fiancée, Wanda) of Waterview, Virginia. Additionally, she leaves behind an extended family of cousins in both Pennsylvania and Charleston, South Carolina.
She will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life will be held in her memory in the near future. Family and friends are welcome to join us.
