BERKSHIRE- Judy Greenwood, age 73, passed away on Friday, September 29th, 2023, at the Northwestern Medical Center.
Judy was born in St. Albans on December 18, 1949, to Raymond and Frances (Marshall) Greenwood.
After graduating from Highschool, Judy entered the U.S. ARMY and served for two years. Judy loved starting her days off with her morning cup of coffee and cigarette. She enjoyed going to garage sales and always getting lunch with Doris and John. Easter was one of her favorite holidays and she enjoyed baking cakes and cupcakes with her granddaughter Isabella also known as “Rosebud”. She would do anything for her family and loved them dearly. She was a caring and loving mom, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.
Judy is survived by her children, Danielle (Roy) Sorrells, Tony Humphrey, and Jeremy Humphrey; grandchildren, CJ, Steven, Ryan, Riley, Sara, Brandon, Jayden, Damien, Isiah, and Isabella (Rosebud); great-grandchildren, Greyson, Marcy, Maddisyn and Layla; brothers, Roy Greenwood, Raymond Greenwood and Chris Greenwood; sisters, Lisa Greenwood Ovitt and Ila Greenwood Parrotte; and many nieces and nephews.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Frances Greenwood; son, Scott Greenwood and brother, Jerome (Joe) Greenwood.
The family would like to thank Lisa Oliver for being there with mom in the hospital until she took her last breath, so she didn’t pass alone.
In respecting Judy’s wishes there will be no public services.
