Judy Ann Haug was born January 11, 1945 in West, Texas to Joe and Angeline Veach. Judy attended Waco schools and graduated from Waco Beauty School. She worked at the Cottage Beauty Shop. Judy married her teenage sweetheart, Wayne, on January 13, 1962. She was a homemaker. Judy was a member of Primrose Drive Baptist Church where she also served as assistant church clerk.
Judy was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She never missed one of their games, except the first Superbowl the Cowboys won because she was giving birth to her youngest daughter (which she reminded her of every year on her birthday).
There was an hour every day that everyone knew not to call Judy because her favorite soap opera, General Hospital, was on. Her grandchildren knew not to bother Nana unless they were bleeding or their hair was on fire.
Her hobbies included collecting pig memorabilia and working jigsaw puzzles.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by husband Wayne after 63 years of marriage. A son, Jerry Haug, wife Julia. Daughter Cindy Rodriguez, husband Richard. Daughter Dee Dee Hyde, husband Chris. Grandsons Jonas Haug, Steven Bostick, wife Jessica, Hunter McBroom, wife Kayli, and Matthew Hyde. Great-granddaughters Kayci and Harper McBroom.
She was a loving mom and Nana who will be truly missed.
