Judy Headen

Judy Goins Headen of Bennett, North Carolina, was born on July 31, 1949 to the late Deacon Dewey Vestal Goins and Deaconess Ardelia Brower Goins.
On Monday, July 29, 2024, with her husband of 33 years, John Lawrence Headen, and many loving family members by her side, the Lord called Judy to her heavenly reward - "Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant".
Judy was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ at a young age at Lambert Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Youth Sunday School Teacher, Youth Choir Director Assistant, Missionary Member, Usher Board Member, Beautification Committee Member, Senior Choir and Gospel Choir Member, and Praise Leader on 2nd Sundays. She was a faithful and active member until her health prevented her from attending in person.
Judy attended Chatham High School and graduated in June,1967. Judy was employed by Ramtex, Inc. in Ramseur, North Carolina for 30+ years. Judy was promoted to the Administrative Office and developed some wonderful friendships. Her co-workers would often stop by her office and receive an encouraging word. Ramtex, Inc. ceased operations on April 18, 2009. When Judy retired, she used her gifts in caregiving and ministry to bless friends and family. She loved working in her yard, gardening, and spending precious moments with family and especially her grandchildren.
She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory, husband John L. Headen; Daughter, Belissa Lee (Hoyte) of Moncure, N.C.; Son, Timothy Matthews (Horm) of Manhattan, Kansas; Daughter, Angela Dingle (Calvin) of Columbia, S.C.; Two Daughters by Marriage, Trena Headen (close companion Earl) Thomasville, N.C.; Teresa Headen, Asheboro, N.C. Grandchildren, Kenya (DeMoris), Kaleb, Kendall, Sydni, Ronnie (Brooke), Shameka, Demetrius, Robin; Great grandchildren; Kaliyah, Cassius, Alize, Gaddafi, Javon, Aaliyah, Cinnamon, Amir; Great-Great-Grandchildren Passion, Jayceon and preceded in death by Amina Kraft. Three Sisters, Barbara Shamberger, Stella Brown (Clyde), Shirley Totten, Two Brothers, James Goins (Jennifer); preceded in death Larry Goins and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
