Judy Ann Jones, 74, passed away Monday, September 29, 2025, at National Healthcare – Garden City.
Born on October 22, 1950, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Jones and the late Mary Melvina Reeves Jones. Ms. Jones was a member of the Church of God and retired from South Carolina Department of Transportation after more than 28 years of service. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life that included shopping, sewing, crafting and spending time with her beloved dogs. In her younger years, Ms. Jones also enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Survivors include a sister, Joyce Jones Cannon (Tim) of Georgetown; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Jones of Georgetown and Judy Kay Jones of Lenoir, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Roy Jones, Cecil Jones, Jimmy Jones and Tony Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Six Mile Church of God. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank the staff at National Healthcare – Garden City and Amedisys Hospice for the treatment and care that was provided to Ms. Jones and her family.
