CENTERTOWN – Judy Laverne Kessinger, 72, of Centertown passed away November 19th, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Ohio County on July 27th, 1953 to the late Henry and Ruva Condit Sheffield.
Judy retired from Walmart where she worked in the deli. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved live music and attending concerts.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Kessinger; brothers, Wendell Sheffield, Jackie Sheffield and Bobby Sheffield; sisters, Jonell Whitten and Shirley Vandruff.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Brandon Kessinger; daughters, Misty Brown and Tiffany Burden; grandchildren, Hannah Brown, Levi Brown, and Grayson Burden; and sister, Mae “Peggy” Boyd.
Services will be held Monday, November 24th, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home with Bro. Brent Howard officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Centertown Cemetery. Online messages of condolence may be sent to bevilbrosfuneralhomes.com.
