Judy Kay Linam

1946 - 2025

Judy Kay Linam, age 78, of Magnet Cove, passed away on Monday, April 28th ,2025. She was born on August 3, 1946 in Malvern, AR, the daughter of James and Annie Mae Hughes Shinn. Judy was a member of Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church where she worked with the Heaven Bound Children's Ministry and the Ladies Auxiliary. She worked as an accountant for Precision Industries for many years. Judy loved to read and taking her grandkids to Branson.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, and brother James Troy Shinn.
Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 59 years, Jackie Linam of Magnet Cove; son, Danny Linam (Melissa) of Magnet Cove; daughter, Missi Block (Steve) of Odessa, TX; brother, Mickey Shinn (Judith) of Lonsdale; sisters, Shirley Daniel of Butterfield and Debbie Korwes of Malvern; grandchildren, Nick Barker (Holly), Hunter Linam (Emily) Gina Martin (Adam), Faith Gonzalez (Cole); great-grandchildren, Isa Martin, Corey Barker, Hueston Barker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th from 1-2pm with the service starting at 2pm at Butterfield Missionary Baptist Church, with Bro. Bobby Goodknight and Ken Shinn officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the deacons of Butterfield MBC: Mickey Shinn, Travis Robinson, Josh Wilson, Jeremy Clements, Zack Gibson, Chad Williams, Paxton Penny, and Jeff McJunkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Psalm 46 Ministry at Butterfield MBC.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at Encore and Gentiva Hospice for the care they provided.
