Judy McLaughlin Obituary
Judy was born February 2, 1942 in Salisbury, NC to the late Richard Lee Shoaf and Annie Marie Kepley. She was graduate of the Class of 1960 at West Rowan High School. Judy worked as an administrative assistant with Hoechst Celanese.
She was a devout Christian and lifelong member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church where she played the organ, sang in the choir, served as a Sunday school teacher, and was the lay Eucharist minister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Onlie Graham McLaughlin; brothers, Gerald Shoaf and Perry Shoaf.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Tracey McLaughlin Motley and her husband Tommy of Salisbury, NC; and sister, Carol Smith of Salisbury, NC.
The family will receive friends from 12-1PM, October 2, 2025 at Summersett Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1pm in Summersett Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 4401 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC 28147.
