Judy Leona Phillips Smallwood, age 84, went to be with the Lord Friday March 27, 2026. Born April 4, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Romey and Lottie Garrett Phillips.

Judy loved her family and spending time with them; she was a blessing to all that knew her. Judy was a manager of Sunamco, she was a hard worker who loved to garden and cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons: Dewey Parks, Tommy Parks, and Gary Parks; sister: Lynn

Judy is survived by her husband Doug Smallwood; son Lawrence Phillips and wife Lisa; brother-in-law Bob Smallwood and wife Laurie; sister-in-law Joyce Hamock and husband Steve, several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00am Wednesday April 1, 2026, in the Combs-Hess Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel with Rev. Bob Smallwood officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton WVA. Those wishing to attend the burial are requested to meet at the cemetery at 2:30pm. The family will receive friends at 10am prior to the service at the funeral home.
