Judy Schroller, 81, of Marysville, Kansas, passed away peacefully at her home on January 25, 2025.

In remembrance of Judy, a visitation was held on Thursday, January 30, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Kinsley Mortuary in Marysville. Following the visitation, a rosary service took place at 7:00 p.m. on the same day at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, also in Marysville.

A funeral service in celebration of her life was conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 31, at St. Gregory's Catholic Church.

The pallbearers were Michael Riblett, Logan Shults, Keaton Schroller, Kyler Schroller, Troy Sides and Randy Sides.

Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She was born October 15, 1943, in Marysville, the daughter of Harvey and Connie (Thompson) Sides. In 1961, she graduated from Marysville High School. After graduation, she worked in Lincoln at the Southwestern Bell Company. She returned to Marysville to marry Leroy Schroller on October 13, 1962, at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church in Marysville.

Leroy and Judy bought Schroller Collision Center in 1972 from Clarence and Minnie Schroller. Together they built a successful business where Judy could be found in the office working the books, answering the phone, and greeting customers until they sold the business to Jeff and Pam Schroller in 2014.

Judy was married for 51 years until Leroy died on January 31, 2014. She was a devoted mother to Christy Riblett (Loren) Edgewood, NM, Jeff Schroller (Pam), Marysville, Kevin Schroller (Tonya), Kansas City and Tami Shults, Manhattan and grandmother to Michael Riblett (Kalyn), Lindsay Cain (Taylor), Olivia Truitt (Haydon), Grace Schroller, Ella Schroller, Kyler Schroller, Tara Schroller, Tegan Schroller, Keaton Schroller, Hannah Shults, Logan Shults and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was known for her sweet smile and ability to make everyone feel like a friend with her genuine conversation and infectious laugh. Judy fiercely loved her family and looked forward to holidays and vacations with them all. Her loyal canine companion, Ricci, was always by her side and gave her countless hours of entertainment. Judy was an avid sports fan always ready to cheer on her K-State Wildcats and Kansas City Chiefs. Judy also enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and camping with her family and even learned to drive a 5th-wheel RV after her husband's passing.

In honor of Judy's memory, a memorial fund has been established to the Marysville Union Pacific Depot Preservation Society. Contributions may be directed to Kinsley Mortuary.
