Judy Ann Smith, born on June 19, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025.
Judy graduated from City High School in Chattanooga and later became a longtime resident of Ooltewah, Tennessee. She dedicated her career to public service as the Property Division supervisor for the City of Chattanooga, a role she held with distinction until her retirement in 2020.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Clara Mae Harvey and Harlin Wilburn Harvey. She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, William Smith; her brother, Ernest Harvey (Karen); her sister, Cathy Winters; her children, Christopher Smith (Brooke), Jenifer Allen (David), and Keri Reed; as well as three granddaughters, three grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
Judy's life was marked by her commitment to family and community. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. May her legacy bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 12:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M., at Companion Funeral Home & Crematory, 6018 John Douglas Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
