Judy Marie Vanhoy

Mrs. Judy Marie Pond Vanhoy, age 46, of Yadkinville, passed away Sunday February 1, 2026, at Lotus Village Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sparta NC. She was born October 3, 1979, in Philippi WV, to the late William Charles Pond Sr, and Ethel Marie Newman, who survives. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles Key, and her brother, Charles Wayne Pond.

Mrs. Vanhoy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a CNA and always enjoyed spending her time caring for others. She was also a member of Granite City Church in Mount Airy. Left to cherish her memories are her devoted husband, Joey Lee Vanhoy; her sons, Kenneth Key (Laken), Matthew Key, Tyler Vanhoy, Zachary Vanhoy, and Ian Vanhoy; her grandchildren, Kimberley Jones, Conner Key, and Paisley Key; sisters, Janet Benson (Chris), and Frances Hill; brothers, Bill Pond (Suzanna), Ricky Lee Pond, Michael Wayne Pond, and Robert Wayne Pond (Mary); several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2026 from 12:00-2:00 PM, at Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson. Services for Mrs. Vanhoy will begin at 2:00 PM, in the Moody-Davis Chapel, with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Stanford Church Cemetery. Moody-Davis Funeral Service is serving the Vanhoy family.
