Judy A. Ware, 81, of Cass City, died peacefully Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in Country Comfort, Cass City. She was born June 16, 1944 in Cass City to Edward and Nancy (Little) Lebioda. She married David Leo Ware on November 12, 1960 in Clio.
Judy was employed as a media technician by Tuscola ISD for twenty-three years. She also treasured time spent as a stay-at-home mom. Judy enjoyed bird watching while sitting on her back porch drinking tea and daily walks with her sister. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, but loved nothing more than her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband of sixty five years, Dave of Cass City; son, Michael Ware of Cass City; twin grandchildren: Madison Ware, currently stationed in Ft Hood, TX; Jacob Ware of Cass City; sisters: Lynda McIntosh, Beth (Dan) Mellendorf; brother, John Lebioda; sisters-in-law: Joan Ware, Donna Nye; brother-in-law, Ferris (Carol) Ware; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her her mother, Nancy Helwig and step-father, Maynard Helwig; daughter, Lisa (Ware) Patera; special uncle, Henry Lebioda; brothers-in-law: Dale McIntosh, Jim Ware, Gordon (Ella-Jean) Ware, Ken Nye.
Memorial service held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2025 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Chaplin Jay Roussel of First State Hospice officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery at a later date. The Ware family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Northwood Meadows and Country Comfort for the wonderful care they gave Judy. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
