Julia Ann Adair, 84, of Springdale, AR, passed away on Monday, October 21st, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. Easley and Nettie "Grigg" Easley. She is survived by her daughters, Darla Adair of Springdale and Dawn Smith of Nesbit, MS, and her grandson, Ty Ramer of Springdale.
Julia was born on November 2nd, 1939, in Denver, Colorado. She attended nursing school in Fort Smith at Sparks Medical Center. She spent her life caring for others until she retired from Northwest Medical Center in Springdale and the VA Hospital in Fayetteville. She played a vital role in setting up the first hospice care in Northwest AR. She specialized in geriatric and oncology care. She loved showing her Chow Chows and had many fond memories of those days. She traveled throughout the central United States showing her dogs and had several champion Chows. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Christ's Church in Fayetteville, AR.
No formal services have been scheduled at this time. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, to honor her memory, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, her favorite charity.
