Norma L. Adair, age 87, of Carleton, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital.
Born on August 27, 1938 in Flat Rock, Michigan, she was the daughter of John and Cora (Bloom) Winkleman. On January 12, 1957, she married Gary Adair in St. John's Lutheran Church.
She was employed with Manufacturers Bank (later named Comerica Bank) as a Bank Manager for many years before retiring.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandchildren, John Adair, Tara Stang, great-grandchild, Austin Adair and sister, Viola Bordt.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Leigh Anne) Adair, Terri (Dan) Pluff, Sherri (David) Barton, Gary (Sheila) Adair, grandchildren, Jenni Adair, Jill Conner, Robert Adair, Danielle Pluff, Jodie Pluff, Kyle Barton, Craig Barton, Emily Mulvey, Paige Jesky and 22 great-grandchildren.
Norma was the heart and soul of her family and all those around her. She was a constant source of love, encouragement and wisdom. She was passionate about playing cards, especially with her "Golden Girlfriends". She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, never missing an opportunity to cheer from the stands or be part of any special occasion. She taught us the importance of family, the power of a smile and the joy of a well lived life. She was a long time member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was a member of the Ladies Aide, serving many funeral dinners. There she earned the name "Mrs. Potato".
Visitation will be held at Bobcean Funeral Home, Carleton Chapel on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 10:00 am. Rev. Kyle E. Jones will officiate the service. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, Huron Township, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Waltz.
