Wichita, Kansas - 73, passed away December 16, 2021. She was born in Beacon, NY on Feb. 4, 1948, to Benjamin and Edna (Scofield) Stanton. Julia worked at Wal-Mart as a customer service manager for 6 years before she retired due to her health. Preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Ellen Staton. Survived by her husband of 43 years, John D. Burris, Wichita, KS; 2 sons of NC; sisters, Ella Mae Snook, Poughkeepsie, NY, and Dorothy (Jose) Ramirez, St. Angelo, TX; grandchildren and many extended family and friends. Services will be held later.
