JULIA WILLIAMS HARRISON

WEBB… Julia Williams Harrison, a resident of Webb, Alabama passed away early Sunday morning, September 29, 2024. She was 79.

 Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with Reverend Joe Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.

 Mrs. Harrison was born in Jakin, Georgia to the late James Ellis Williams and Grace Lucille Fleming Williams. She was a 1963 graduate of Poplar Springs High School. She had previously lived in Key West, Florida, before moving to Webb, Alabama. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, across the United States to national parks and enactments of the Civil War. She was a very active member of the Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a member of the Webb Methodist Church.

 Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marlan Wayne Harrison and her sister, Katherine Elaine Kraft.

 Leaving to cherish her memories is her very good friends and caretakers, Robert & Mary Sanders; her sister-in-law, Annette Harrison White; her nieces, Sylvia Roland, Debbie Blackman, Renee White, Elaine Olson, and Tammy Raemmler; her nephews David White and Marcus McKnight; and several friends.

 Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Daughters of the Confederacy.
