Julia “Judy” Kendall, age 77, passed away April 12, 2025 at Jags Healthcare of Galion. Judy was born to the late Lewis Mayes and Betty (Wade) Bonham January 12, 1948 in Willard Ohio. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Lisa Schott, sister Linda (Chuck) Coulter; and brother, David Mayes.
Judy was survived by children, Ron (Traci) Watson; Cristy (John) Shaffer; brother, Donald (Theresa) Mayes; son in law, Michael Schott; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Judy attended Fathers Healing Heart church in Bucyrus. She loved painting on canvas, and had even attended the school of Norman Rockwell. She had quite the green thumb, and grew everything from flowers to vegetables. She most recently had worked as a biscuit maker at Hardees and absolutely loved that job, but she had also cleaned at the Lutheran church in crestline for a number of years. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Visiting hours are at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home from 3PM-5PM Wednesday April 16. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association or to Fathers Healing Hearts church. Moments of remembrance may be left online at www.munzpirnstill.
