Giulia “Julia” Francis (Naldi) Malloy, 100, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Hershey, PA, went home to be with Jesus on October 28, 2025, at the Masonic Village Nursing Home, Evergreen Hospice. She was born August 26, 1925, in Luzerne, PA, to the late Angelo and Sestilia (Medici) Naldi. She was predeceased by her husband, John Raymond Malloy, II.
She is survived by 3 children, Michael Malloy and wife Robin, Thomas Malloy and wife Cathy, and Nancy Roeder and husband Gary; 7 grandchildren, Bethany Malloy and fiancé Casey Binner, Thomas Malloy, Jr. and wife Michaela, Charles Malloy, Phillip Roeder and wife Callie, Adele Roeder and partner Nick Smith, Josh Long and wife Star, and Lindsey Long; 3 great-grandchildren, Elana and Bennet Malloy and Porter Binner; and several nieces and a nephew in Colorado. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a son, Johnny Malloy, and a sister, Lillian Gray.
Julie was a devout Roman Catholic, spending much of her life as a member of St. Joan of Arc in Hershey, later attending St. Peter in Elizabethtown. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and playing the organ. Julie was a social butterfly and never missed the opportunity to go on an outing or have lunch with friends. The only thing she enjoyed more than her social affairs was shopping; she knew the QVC number by heart and the delivery driver by name.
