What a wonderful teacher. My daughter, Erin was a student in the second grade at Ritter Elementary. Mrs. Morin was loved by all. Not just for education, but she was so thoughtful. She had traveled to Hawaii, and brought each student back a tee shirt. It really was the "little" things that meant so much.

I am so saddened to see this. I was so hoping we could get together after she responded to my 2020 Christmas card with a letter that I will cherish. But the pandemic never ended and it wasn't safe to meet. I still marvel that she trusted me as a teen to baby sit when I think Laura was only a week old. I also remember the yellow roses she got for me when I was teaching with her. Being right next door to the school, she had seen me out preparing the playground for field day. She also saw me swatting 3 or 4 mosquitos at a time. So, there, in the teachers room the next morning, were flowers for me. A lovely lady who I always enjoyed talking with and a great example of a teacher to work with. My prayers are with you kids and your families.
