Julia Ann Robinson

Julia Ann Bender Robinson, a resident of Snellville, GA, born in Foley, AL & raised in Summerdale, AL passed away October 22,2024 at the age of 79.

Julia was a 1964 graduate of Foley High School. She was a military wife & homemaker. She worked outside the home in various industries including food service, dry cleaning & retail. Her longest employment was with K-Mart from which she retired. She had a love for dogs, birdwatching especially hummingbirds and gardening. She loved to travel and experience new places.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years retired Air Force MSGT Lenard Henry Robinson; her parents George and Julia Bender; her in-laws Brutus & Myrtle Robinson and her sister Kathleen Bender.

She is survived by her daughters Teresa Lynn Robinson of Mobile, AL & Karen Denise Robinson of Snellville, GA; her brothers George Bender of Panama City Beach, FL & John Bender of Elberta, AL; plus many nieces; nephews; and other extended family members.

Visitation will be held 11am at First Methodist Church of Summerdale Friday, November 1, 2024 followed by service at 12pm. Interment will be held at Pine Rest Cemetery.
