Julia M. Shadeck, age 101.6, of Erie, PA., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was born in Erie, PA., on July 28, 1923, a daughter of the late Leonard and Antonietta Calaciura Pinzarrone.
Julie had a very deep and abiding faith. She was a lifelong and the oldest parishioner of St. Peter Cathedral.
Always a very thoughtful, caring and stylish person, she will be fondly remembered for her love of gardens and all things floral, especially roses as well as her wonderful baking skills. Over the years, Julie worked for several retailers, most recently at Osterman/Reed Jewelers in the Millcreek Mall.
She leaves daughters Rosilynn J. Barone, husband John of New Hartford, NY., and Palm City, FL., and Remilee J. Hays, husband Michael of Russell, PA., Granddaughters Valerie R. Shadeck of Pittsburgh, PA., and Kimberly A. Lee, husband Christopher, daughter in law Elaine Shadeck, and great grandsons, Nathan & Carter Lee all of West Chester, PA., as well as several generations of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by husband William J. Shadeck and son Ronald J. Shadeck,
as well as dear friend Richard Ames.

Friends may call on Friday, April 4th at St. Peter Cathedral from 9:00am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Send condolences to www.kloeckerfuneralhome.com.
