July 31, 1934 – March 13, 2024
Our Dear Wife, Mum and Nana, Julia Short, 89, passed away March 13, 2024, in Aurora, Colorado.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Rob, two sons, one daughter, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. This is for immediate family only.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 12 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Short residence.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at .

Mr.Short, Geoff, Bobby, Karen and family, I am so sorry to hear about Julia. When we were young and I came over to your house to wait to go to school Julia was always so friendly. Also when I brought my kids around trick or treating, she always had a warm smile and would ask how the rest of the family was doing. Our thoughts are with you all during this time. David VonFeldt
