Julia was our neighbor many years ago, as we lived in the new development east of her home. She was a pip! She dearly loved her family......we moved far away to Minnesota, but every year on her Christmas Eve birthday we had a nice visit on the phone. I loved her, and I think she kind of loved me.

One of my favorite memories of my grandma is the annual visits to her house and taking the "porch picture" on Halloween. She would always call to make sure we were coming and then turn her porch light on until we got there and then it was lights out.
