It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julian Alejandro Galicia, a beloved son, brother, and father, who left us far too soon on November 17, 2025, in his hometown of Topeka, Kansas. Julian was born on October 26, 2000, in Topeka, where he spent his formative years surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Julian was a radiant presence in the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a graduate of Highland Park High School, where he made lasting friendships and left a mark with his infectious smile and remarkable sense of humor. Known for his ability to light up any room he entered, Julian had a unique gift for making others feel welcome and cherished. His love for dancing brought joy not only to him but also to those fortunate enough to witness his carefree spirit in motion.
As a father, Julian was nothing short of amazing. He is survived by his five-year-old son, Emiliano A. Galicia, who was the center of his world. Julian's love for Emiliano was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with his son. Julian’s legacy of love and laughter will forever live on in Emiliano’s heart.
Julian’s family, who he adored fiercely, includes his parents, Anna C. (Aldape) Galicia and Enrique Galicia; his siblings, Analisia Galicia, Chris Lighthiser, Krystal Galicia, and Krystyna Flores; and ten cherished nieces and nephews, who were lucky enough to call him their Tio. He is preceded in death by his brother, Guillermo E. Galicia, and his beloved grandparents Eppie Cordero-Aldape, Paulino Aldape Sr., Pascuala Serrano-Gonzalez, and Juan Galicia-Tilfilo, as well as his aunt, Diana Ortiz.
Julian's life was a testament to the importance of family, friendship, and love. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, and he will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Julian’s life will be celebrated with a rosary service at 6:00 p.m. on Monday November 24, 2025 at Parker-Price & Davidson in Topeka. Family will greet friends until 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Julian’s life will be held on November 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Christ the king Catholic Church, followed by burial at mount Calvary cemetery . Family and friends are welcome to join in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the joyful moments they experienced with him.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to Anna Galicia via Cash App at $annagalicia0, to support the family and Emiliano in this difficult time.
Julian Alejandro Galicia may have departed from this world, but his light will continue to shine through the love he shared and the memories he created. Rest in peace, Dear Julian. You will always be remembered, and your spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved you.
