Julian LeRoy “JL” Robinson, III, age 82, of Cedarview, Utah, peacefully returned home on June 5, 2023, in Ogden, Utah.
JL was born on December 20, 1940, in Richmond, Utah, to Julian Leroy II and Jennie Anita Mae Fullmer Robinson. He married Linda Darlene, and they later divorced. He later married Brit Olstad.
JL was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many callings as well as serving a successful mission in Australia. Starting as a young man, he built several small engine repair and equipment sales businesses that created his career. He earned the nickname “Speed” for his quick and accurate work. He took great pride in his ability to diagnose and repair any small engine. He had a great love of family, for every type of animal and for the simple way of living. He enjoyed farming especially cutting hay. He served as a councilman in St. Charles, Idaho. He and Brit were able to build their dream log home in Ovid, Idaho, but because of health reasons they had to move closer to family.
JL is survived by his wife of 24 years, Brit Robinson, children, Heather (Bryan) Sorensen and Julian (Shelly) Robinson IV; step-children, Sherri Richens, Nathan Crawford, Doug (Karie) Williams, Spencer (Sherri) Williams, Kathy (Shane) Wilson; 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Linda Darlene Robinson, step-son, Paul Aaron Crawford, Shane Richens, 3 grandchildren, his parents, and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM, at the Roosevelt 7th Ward  of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2062 West 9000 North, Neola, Utah.
A viewing will be held that morning from 10:00 - 10:45 AM at the church.
Burial will be held on June 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Richmond City Cemetery, 350 North 200 East, Richmond, Utah.
