Julian Vinoy Tankersley Jr., 66, passed away surrounded by love on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The eldest of 6 children, Vinoy was born on April 08, 1959, in Memphis, TN, to parents Julian Tankersley Sr. and Sue Moses. He worked in the wrecker service business for over 40 years. He was the Operations Manager at B and B Towing. Vinoy married the love of his life, Yvonne on January 18, 1992. They spent 33 wonderful years of marriage until his passing. Vinoy loved to ride motorcycles, in fact it was one of his most favorite things to do. He loved to travel, he took several cruises throughout the years. Vinoy is preceded in death by his mother and step father Sue and Bill Keely, his father Julian Sr. and step mother Susan Tankersley, a brother, Ricky Minton Tankersley, as well as his grandmother Mary Viola Moses. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Yvonne Sewell Tankersley, his children: Justin Tankersley (Leah), Kristi Newell (Josh), Chris Wright (Charlotte), Andrea Davis (Johnny), and Ashley Wright, as well as 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Gale Tankersley Means (Tom), Daniel Tankersley, BJ Pitts, Anita Gordon, as well as his sister and brother in law Theresa and Jim Cramer. Vinoy will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him more than words can express.
