Juliana was my sister but was more like a mother to me given she was 20 years elder. She bought me my 1st bicycle that I rode through the neighborhood proudly blowing its horn. She taught me how to play tennis and snow ski that I continue to do to this day. Whe I got my drivers license She showed me how to drive stick shift in her Fiat 124 sport spider. I didn't want to go to college but she knew I had mechanical ability and convinced me to study mechanical engineering and helped me obtain an Air Force ROTC scholarship at WVU by assisting with my application. I wish I could have returned the many favors she gave me by caring for her with her medical issues but I had a family to take care of. I know she is resting peacefully now in heaven. Thank you for being a kind and wonderful sister to me.
