Juliann Wallis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Thomas-Justin Memorial Home - Kenwood Chapel from Aug. 18 to Aug. 21, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Juliann Wallis, age 93, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2025, at Hospice of

Cincinnati Blue Ash Inpatient Care Center. She is survived by her three children, Brad

(Cathy) Wallis, Mindy (Steve) Rosen, and Susan (Jeff) Smith. She was the adored

grandmother to Brian, Sarah, Mary, Colin, and Nick, and fun-loving great-grandmother

to Jacob, Mark, Cecilia, and Rose.

Juliann was born in Danville, Illinois to Charles and Grace Mack. She was a

Homecoming Princess at Danville High School where she excelled at her studies and

met the love of her life, John Wallis.

Married for 71 years, John and Juliann moved many times over the course of their life

together. They made fast friends with their neighbors in Whittier, CA, Youngstown, OH,

Hilton Head Island, SC, Cashiers, NC, and Cincinnati, OH. John and Juliann were both

avid golfers. She achieved a hole in one at the Wexford Golf Course on Hilton Head

Island in 2015.

Juliann was devoted to her children and was active as a Girl Scout leader, PTA

representative, and Youth Church leader. She was a skilled seamstress and made many

of Mindy and Susan's clothes as children. A favorite moment was their matching Mumu

dresses she made for a trip to Hawaii in 1970.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice of Cincinnati.

A private service will be held at the Old Armstrong Chapel United Methodist Church on

August 25, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held on September 27, 2025, at The

Kenwood by Senior Star.
