Julianne Donahue, 87, of North Olmsted, peacefully passed away on October 27, 2023.
There are no words to fully describe the amazing and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend Julianne was. Her kindness and generosity were given to all, she radiated the characteristics of a woman we should all inspire to be. We will remember her for her sense of humor, quick wit, strong and resilient personality. She had a servant's heart, always cooking and baking for family and others. Julianne enjoyed skiing, being an advisor, and Saavy mentor. She succeeded in many areas of her life, working hard for what she accomplished. Julianne worked for many years as a real estate agent and business owner. She was an energic, ambitious lady who was well respected by those who knew her. She left behind a legacy of love, commitment, and hard work. Above all, she was a faithful member for the majority of her life at the Riverside/Kamm's Corner Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, John R. Donahue Jr; son, Timothy Donahue; brother, Steven "Buddy" Buckley.
Julianne is survived by her loving family, including her children, Laura (Michael) Prech, John R. Donahue III, David Donahue, and Amy Donahue; grandchildren, Amanda, Philip, Sara, Stacy, John IV, Jeffrey, Alyssa, Meghan, Rachel, Madison and Alexis; 11 great-grandchildren; and other extended family members and friends.
Friends and Family may gather on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00AM on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

Julie was my best friend. Our friendship began before I was ten. we met at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. We spent nights at each others houses, we played piano, went shopping, skating.to organ music, especially loved to go swimming. We learned how to be Bible teachers. Going from house to house. People were not inclined to listen to any strangers, but I remember one Pentecostal lady who would discuss the Bible with us. One of us would talk to her while the other looked for scriptures, then switch rolls. So many fond memories over the years, like our trip to Mexico after the peso was devalued, eating at the most elegant of hotels with cages of Canaries serenading us. Hope to make many more memories in the future when the earth is a paradise.

Julie was a dearly loved forever friend. Loving, loyal, compassionate, supportive and inspiring. She was always there to lend a helping hand, listening ear and her heart to share your triumphs and sorrows. She will be deeply missed. I eagerly anticipate her return in God's long awaited earthly Kingdom!
