Julianne Gugle Mielcarek, aged 88, of Cocoa Beach, Florida, passed away on October 12, 2024. Born on January 18, 1936, Julianne was known for her long-standing dedication to education and her deep-rooted faith. She was a beacon of love and friendship, touching the lives of many with her warmth and generosity. Julianne began her educational journey at St. Catharine's in Columbus, Ohio, and continued at St. Mary's of the Springs in the same city. She furthered her education at Dunbarton College of the Holy Cross in Washington, DC, which laid the foundation for her rewarding career in education. Throughout her life, Julianne was a devout member of the Church of Our Saviour in Cocoa Beach, Florida, where she also contributed her time and resources. Her commitment to her faith was evident in every aspect of her life, including her personal pursuits. Julianne was an avid world traveler and enjoyed knitting, activities that she shared with friends and family, creating lasting memories. She leaves behind her husband of 59 years, David Mielcarek Sr., and her children, Anne Mielcarek Norgren (Robert), Sarah Mielcarek Freedman (Larry), and David Mielcarek Jr. (Linda). Julianne was a cherished grandmother to Christopher, William, Annie, Hanna, Elizabeth, Sami, and Natalie, and she will also be fondly remembered by many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George L. Gugle Jr. and Anne Cannon Gugle, as well as her brothers, George L. Gugle III and John Gugle. A service to celebrate Julianne's life will be held at the Church of Our Saviour, 5301 N. Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, Florida 32931, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church of Our Saviour School (https://www.oursaviourschool.org/donate)
in memory of Julianne, honoring her commitment to education and faith.
