Julie Anne Balck

Julie and I became friends when, as high school graduates, we attended Sacramento City College to study for a degree in the program for Registered Nursing. We each had a boyfriend. And we both had plans to marry at our young age. I had nothing to set up housekeeping. Julie had a hope chest. She kindly gave me three of her potholders. I have kept them all of these years, and they remind me of my sweet friend.
