Julie Haley-Macedone

On November 3, 2025, our beautiful Julie - a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many - was called home to heaven to be with our Heavenly Father.

She left this world surrounded by love, strength, and peace.

Julie Holly Haley-Macedone, age 45, was born on June 20, 1980, in Hayward, California, to James Henry Macedone Sr. and Cherese (Menhorn) Macedone.

Julie earned her Art degree from California State University, Hayward (now CSU East Bay) in 2011, where she later worked. Creative and compassionate, she was known for her kind, caring, and giving heart. She loved crafting, thrifting, creating art, decorating for Halloween, and caring for animals. Julie found joy in making others feel special, always remembering family and friends with thoughtful gifts and cards for every occasion. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Cherese (Menhorn) Macedone; her husband, Jonathan Tyler Haley-Macedone; her son, Maximus Tyler Haley-Macedone; and her beloved siblings Janet (Daren), James Jr (Nancy), Jeffrey (Randalynn), John (Antida), Joseph (Brooke), Jacob, Josh (Richelle), Jordan (Megan), Jalyn (Moroni), Jessi, Joanna, Jackson, Jamayka (Patrick), and Jade.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Henry Macedone Sr.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Nelson Family Mortuary in Provo, Utah. Interment will follow at the Orem City Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Julie touched every life she met with her kindness, laughter, and heart. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing she is free from pain and watching over us from above.

Julie will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, creativity, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
