Julie Ann Kahl, age 65, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025.
Julie was born on September 28, 1960, the daughter of Arnold and Joanne Kahl. She graduated from Waupun High School, Class of 1978, and went on to earn a degree in nursing. She later continued her education and received an elevated degree in clinical informatics consulting, working in the Oshkosh and Fond du Lac areas.
Julie had a deep love for dogs, working with local rescues, and enjoyed keeping an eye on dogs for her neighbors and friends. She loved traveling with family and friends, especially to warm places, and Maui was her favorite destination. Julie also enjoyed baking, cooking, and spending her free time crafting when she wasn’t in her pool with her dogs.
Julie is survived by her siblings, Carolyn (Lawrence) Dwyer and Thomas (Megan Sheridan) Kahl; her nieces and nephews, Jackson Dwyer, Jennifer Patri, and Andy Kahl; her sister-in-law, Sandy Kahl; and further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William Kahl; and her beloved dogs, Kelly, Buddy, and Cooper.
In honoring Julie’s wishes, private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers or donations, memorials in Julie’s name may be directed to Wisconsin Sheltie Rescue or the Dodge County Humane Society.
