Julie and I sang together in the Collegiate United Methodist Church's Chancel Choir for many years. We also attended the Wednesday night soup suppers the church held to foster community and feed the hungry, no questions asked. One April day, Julie and two friends serenaded me with a German trio birthday song ... what a hoot! I felt so overwhelmed and loved through their gracious gift of music. Another time, I remember that Julie, having accumulated a large number of T-shirts over the years, decided that she would wear a DIFFERENT T-shirt everyday, and see how long she could go. I believe the streak was over 100 days! I am sending love to Denny and the rest of Julie's family.

I know Julie through Maggie's Place. My sister is Dar Erickson. I so enjoyed her. She sang while I was visiting at least 2 times, a Nordic song from her choir experience and Happy Birthday to my sister. Just wanted to extend my sympathies, my thoughts and prayers to you. I enjoyed visiting with her.
She radiated her love of music. What a sweet soul.
