Julie Ann Tarp, age 59, of Seattle, WA and Indio, CA, passed away unexpectedly on October 8, 2025.
Born on December 13, 1965, in Seattle, Julie attended Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary and John F. Kennedy High School. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and later completed her Master's Degree in Business Administration at the University of Washington.
Julie began her career at The Boeing Company at the age of 18 and remained there until her retirement in 2023. After retiring, she and her husband, John, embraced their love of travel through motorhome adventures across the United States. She loved to spend her time in Indio, CA for the winters and return to Seattle in the summer.
Family was the heart of Julie's life. She cherished every moment spent with her children and nine grandchildren, always putting others first and caring deeply for those around her.
Julie and John were married on December 18, 1999, and shared a passion for exploring new places together.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Smith.
Julie is survived by her loving husband, John; her children, Jaylene (Jason), Jeremy (Jessalyn), Robbie (Shoni), and Curtis; her mother, Donna; sister, Janice; nine grandchildren with one more on the way; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many extended and adopted family members.
A celebration of Julie's life will be announced and held at a later date.
