Julie Wazinek Obituary

Julie Lynn Wazinek died on November 17, 2025. She was born on December 26, 1964 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Luther Duty and Mary Stacey. She was a resident of Okeechobee for 25 years and attended multiple churches. She loved making jigs, fishing, thrift shopping, and spending time with her son, grandchildren, and her best friend and niece, Tonya.
Ms. Wazinek was preceded in death by her father, Luther Duty; mother, Mary Duty; and sister, Janice Wall.
She is survived by her son, Wiley Wazinek (Kristin); sister, Joanne Duty; and grandchildren, Chase Wazinek, Kason Colburn, Harlee Wazinek.
Receiving of friends will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2025 at Buxton Okeechobee Funeral Home.
