Julienne R. Sequin, age 75, of Midland, passed away December 19, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born June 3, 1950, in Midland to the late Oliver and Andree Sequin and was a graduate of Midland High School.
Julienne worked at the Dow Credit Union beginning in November of 1969, serving for many years as a loan officer before retiring in 2004. She lived a simple and modest life, hallmarked by her deep kindness, generosity, and devotion to family. She especially dedicated herself to caring for her mother, always putting the needs before her own.
Julienne found joy in gardening and baking, and during the holidays she was known for baking hundreds of cookies to share with friends and family. She was never married but was the proud mother of one son, Nolan, who was the greatest pride and focus of her life.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Claude. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Nolan and Caitlin McCann of Oakton, Virginia; her sister, Marcelle Waters of Midland; and special friends Monty McCann and Lois Waynee.
The Funeral Liturgy for Julienne will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 27, 2025 at St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church, 207 Ashman Street, with Father Stephen Blaxton officiating. Her family will receive friends at Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Liturgy.
