With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Juliet (Eti) Ho Kum, January 5, 2026, at the age of 44.
Juliet Lemusu Ho Kum was born August 7, 1981, in Kahuku, Hawaii and was the 5th of seven children.
Juliet loved learning. She took classes at community colleges, went to massage school, and before she got sick had started going back to school for an associates in mathematics. Juliet enjoyed making jewelry, and would beautifully color mandala coloring pages.
Juliet gravitated towards people. If Juliet went somewhere she didn’t know anyone, she would find someone to talk to, and make a new friend. Juliet worked in customer service positions where she could always talk and interact with others. Juliet could always be found talking and laughing with someone.
Juliet loved her family, and not just her immediate family, she spent lots of time with various cousins, uncles and aunts from American Samoa to Utah and everywhere in between. Despite her illness, Juliet did her best to attend as many family parties, graduations and performances for her nieces and nephews. She wanted to be there to celebrate milestones with her family.
