Juliet "Julie" Lucas
Juliet "Julie" Lucas, 66, of Rowland, North Carolina passed away on January 4, 2025, at her home.
Julie is survived by her son Jesse Jordan of Syracuse, New York, her daughter Elizabeth Yarrington of Cameron, North Carolina, and brother Arnold Lucas of Deltaville, Virginia.
Julie was an animal lover and kind heart who worked tirelessly to help her local community's animal population. She was an avid collector of antiques, and could frequently be found on the search for more treasures at the Dillon auction. After only her family and animals, Julie loved her town of Rowland. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the local train depot helping to preserve the history of Rowland.
Julie's service will be held at Rowland Train Depot in Rowland, North Carolina, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 11 to 2. Please feel free to bring a poem, a funny story, or kind words to honor her.
In lieu of flowers and to honor her love of animals, please donate to your local animal shelter.

Ms.Julie was a very nice and generous person. She was my mom (Gloria) best friend. The best friendship you could have. Julie will be missed by many. We love you Ms.Julie. R.I.P
