Julieta Soto Obituary
Julieta later moved to Sandia/Orange Grove/Mathis/ and finally Odem, Tx. Julieta was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Juan A. Soto; a daughter, Mary S. Garcia, age 76, a brother, Juan Lara, and a sister-in law Evelina Soto.
Julieta is survived by her children: Agustin Soto (Kathy Soto), Juan Soto IV, Olga Castro, Rogelio Soto, Diamontina S. Garces (JR Adamez), Isabel Solano. In addition, her sister, Elma Gonzalez. Several grandchildren 13 in total; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. She lived her childhood in a modest community and pursued an education at a Catholic school until grade 10. She enjoyed writing especially penmanship and soon learned to become ambidextrous. In addition, one of her favorite past times was listening to the radio and dancing to Conjunto music. Julieta's virtues, that molded her character, consisted of family, faith, spirituality, and hard work. These virtues enabled her incessant prayers. She prayed daily, for everyone.
Visitation will begin Monday, April 10, 2023, 1:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A Holy Rosary will be recited the same evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
